From the birth-year picker to the delete button
Signup, the defaults nobody asks you about, and the small print underneath all of it.
The age gate and what loads behind it
Registration asks for a date of birth and nothing beyond it. The year column greys out any value that would place the account holder under eighteen, so the interface will not let you declare yourself a minor.
It also does nothing to establish that the year you pick is yours. No document check, no card check, no third-party verification appears at any stage.

Building a character from an uploaded image
Creation starts with a photo. Uploading one opens a form asking for a name, an age, tags, a scenario, a greeting and an opening message, with a live preview of how the card will look in the feed and in chat.
A link labelled What's Not Allowed sits at the top of the panel. It is the closest thing to guidance the creation flow offers, and it is easy to miss.
The chat page and gated memory
The settings panel gathers voice controls, memory options, page personalization and model choice into one column on the right of the chat.
Persistent memory is one of the two features CrushOn markets hardest. On the free plan it is also the one you cannot touch.
Picking a model, and the label that contradicts the toggle
Models sit in a Free bank with Pro and Ultra banks locked above it. Free accounts can use the Free bank without limit, spend credits to reach Pro, and cannot reach Ultra at all.
The free default is Crushon Leo at an 8K context window, and the platform labels it Filtered.
Group chat and the message multiplier
Group chat is the feature almost nobody else in this category ships. It is restricted to paying accounts and runs on a dedicated 8K model.
You build a room, add up to five characters, and give the group a shared background so the AI knows where the story sits and how the members relate to each other.
The terms, and what happens to your chats
Two documents matter more than anything on the pricing page. The first is the outbound links clause in the terms of service.
It disclaims responsibility for any third-party site reached through the service and places that risk on the user. The release named in that clause covers company officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, licensors, licensees and suppliers, and extends to Apple and Google.
The second is further down the privacy policy, in the section covering how personal information is collected. This is the paragraph that should carry the most weight in a buying decision.
Deleting the account
Deletion is reachable from profile settings without contacting support, which is better than several larger platforms manage.
The warning lists created characters, search history, chat logs, favourites, memories, interaction data and order records as irreversibly removed. One line in that panel matters more than the rest, and it is set in smaller type than everything around it.
Confirming moves you to a second screen that itemises what the account currently holds before it goes.
