First impressions and the character library

I opened with three clear facts to remember. Giorno acknowledged all of it immediately, even picking up on the trip and asking a follow-up question about it.

A handful of ordinary messages later, I asked the character to recall those details without scrolling up. It could not. Giorno claimed to have no information about my dog or my travels and offered to hear about them instead.
To rule out a one-off glitch, I regenerated the failed response. The second attempt failed too, this time explaining that the character was preoccupied with its own thoughts. The 2/2 counter confirms it was a fresh generation, not the same reply.
No memory controls in Settings
Since memory was the clearest weakness, I checked whether the app lets you address it at all.
The Chat Settings panel offers toggles for a Dopple+ model, voice captioning, text streaming, line breaks and Dopple reactions, along with a Persona option. Nothing there touches conversation memory or context retention.
